Ukraine: indicators in the field of tubular products fall

Provided to analysts data, the leading Ukrainian enterprises for the period from January to June 2014 reduced the production of трубна8,9% compared to the same period of last year, which amounted to 775,2 thousand tons. However, in June the indicator increased by 17.3% from the previous month to 161 thousand tons.

Indicators of Khartsyzsk pipe plant in comparison with the period January-June 2013 decreased slightly from 127,1 thousand tons to 120 thousand tons. However, earlier monthly figure averaged about 30−35 thousand tons, and for the period January-February the company produced only 9.4 thousand tons. However, in June the factory has increased manufacture volumes to 35.9 thousand tons. Decreased performance and production «Interpan-NTZ» by going with increased 190.7 th of thousands of tons to the level 170,7 thousand tons. The indicators on the «Interpipe nmpp» at 122,4 thousand tons fell to 86.7 thousand tonnes, but the production on «Interpipe Niko tube» has grown from 204,9 thousand tons to 218,2 thousand tons.

At the same time increased indicators of «Centravis» — to 11.1 thousand tonnes from 9.9 thousand tons of stainless steel tubes.

The decline in industrial performance in the Ukrainian pipe factories took place in 2013 — overall production volume decreased by 19.9% compared to 2012 to reach 1 million 614,7 thousand tons.

Reduced production of steel in Ukrainian enterprises in the period from January to June 2014 decreased by 6% compared to the first half of last year, amounting to of 15.47 million tons. Edition of the total metal in January-June fell by 7%, amounting to 13.59 million tons, pig iron decreased to 14.36 million tons, compared to the same period of last year by 1%.
