Bronze grade 2.1060 (other names — alloy C91700 or CuSn12 Ni) belongs to the group of high-strength tin bronzes, which are additionally doped with nickel. The addition of nickel to the standard 12% tin bronze provides additional durability and improved corrosion resistance in water supply systems, as well as for pipelines engaged in pumping and using chlorine-containing media. This alloy can also be supplied under other specifications — ASTM B 427 and DIN EN 1705.
