Vanadium sheet

Vanadium sheet

Supplier — the company AvecGlob — offers at affordable prices from the manufacturer a sheet made of vanadium alloys. The supplier guarantees the timely delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.

Technical specifications

Vanadium alloys are made from vanadium powder, using powder metallurgy methods. Due to the high ductility and malleability of vanadium, the semi-finished products are subjected to rolling after sintering to obtain the initial blanks of the required width and thickness. The technical conditions for the production of these alloys are determined by the regulatory requirements of TU 48−4-272−73. The characteristic features of vanadium rolled products are high corrosion resistance, high elasticity, resistance to high temperatures, increased mechanical strength, and resistance to thermal creep.

Urgency of application

The main application of the vanadium alloy sheet is industrial and laboratory installations in the glass, chemical industry, the production of high-temperature ceramics and other applications where chemically aggressive media are used (except for hydrofluoric acid, as well as a mixture of nitric and sulfuric acids). Due to the fact that vanadium actively absorbs neutrons, a vanadium sheet can be effectively used also in nuclear power engineering. The springiness of this material makes it possible to use them in hull structures, which constantly experience significant alternating loads.

Assortment and application features

A sheet of vanadium alloys is supplied in a range of thicknesses from 0.9 mm and a width of 480 mm, other parameters are coordinated with the customer.

Vanadium sheet can not be used if the operating temperature of the environment reaches 300 ° C or higher: at this temperature, the metal becomes brittle. Weldability of vanadium is satisfactory, the method of welding with a tungsten non-consumable electrode in helium or argon is used.

Supplier — AvekGlob company — offers to buy a vanadium sheet, manufactured in accordance with TU 48−4-272 — 73. Products can be bought at a price formed on the basis of European and world standards of production. Implementation is possible in bulk and retail, for regular customers, a flexible system of discounts operates.
