Nitrogen 50® - 1.3964 - Alloy 50 pipe

Nitrogen 50® - 1.3964 - Alloy 50 pipe

Company Avecglob offers at a reasonable price from the manufacturer a variety of rolled metal products from stainless steel alloy Nitronic 50®. The supplier provides prompt delivery of products to any address specified by the consumer.

Composition and properties of the material

Stainless steel Nitronic 50® (other names — XM-19, Alloy 50, 1.3964) provides a combination of corrosion resistance and strength, not detectable in any other commercial materials available in the same price range. This austenitic stainless steel has a corrosion resistance greater than that of imported stainless steel grades 316, 316L, 317 and 317L, plus about twice the yield strength at room temperature.

Unlike many austenitic stainless steels, Nitronic 50® does not become magnetic when cold processed or cooled to low temperatures.

Stainless steel pipes Nitronic 50 are produced by hot extrusion technology.

Excellent corrosion resistance provides the Nitronic 50® grade steel with an effective application in the construction of pipelines for the petroleum, petrochemical and chemical industries, for the pumping of liquid fertilizers, and for the reprocessing of nuclear fuel. Pipe rolling from this steel is also used in the pulp and paper, textile, food industries, as well as in the maritime industry.

Components that combine excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, include pumps, valves and fittings, fasteners, cables, chains, shields and wire cloth, marine equipment, shafts and pumps, heat exchanger parts, springs and photographic equipment.

The chemical composition of Nitronic 50® steel, which meets the technical requirements of ASTM A193 and UNSS20910 standards, is presented in the table:

Content in percent Ni Cr Mo Mn Si C N S P Cb V Fe
least 11.5 20.5 1.5 4.0 - - 0.2 - - 0.1 0.1 -
greatest 13.5 23.5 3.0 6.0 1.0 0.06 0.4 0.03 0.045 0.3 0.3 Rest

Buy at an economically advantageous price, Nitronic 50® stainless steel tubes are available from AvecGlob. The supplier guarantees timely delivery of products to any point set by the customer.

Technological features: in terms of machinability, stainless steel Nitronic® 50 does not differ from the rest of the austenitic steels, but requires lower speeds, higher power and increased rigidity due to the high rate of hardening. It is recommended to use carbide tools.

The temperature range of forging steel — 1177… 1204 ° C. Weldability of steel — good, (except for laser welding, because of the danger of saturation of the surface with gases).

AvekGlob company offers to purchase at affordable prices stainless steel pipes of Nitronic® 50. The supplier immediately delivers the rolled products to any point agreed by the customer.
