Copper pipes for air conditioners are manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements of the Western European standard DIN EN 1057. The operating temperature of their application should correspond to a temperature range from -34 0 C to +110 0 C, with an internal pressure of not more than 600 MPa (with a clamp-on connection — no more than 100 MPa, annealed pipes — no more than 450 MPa). It is allowed to use copper pipes for pumping inorganic dilute acids and dry air, their use for handling organic liquids is not allowed. Pipes are produced by pressing or rolling technology with subsequent forging to achieve a structure with uniform grain sizes. The mating surfaces must not have protrusions, ripples or deformations of any type.

Urgency of application

Copper pipes for air conditioners are used in domestic practice in the construction and installation of air exchange and drainage systems, as well as in the maintenance of refrigeration plants.
