Pipe copper-Nickel

Pipe copper-Nickel

Company Avecglobal sells at various prices from the manufacturer a wide range of rolled products, which is made of copper-nickel alloys of domestic and foreign production. The supplier provides prompt delivery of pipes to any address specified by the customer.

Features of the material and its application

Copper in combination with nickel provides alloys with increased resistance to corrosion and oxidation, especially in chlorine-containing aqueous media. Along with the increase in these indicators, nickel also adds to the pipes more strength and durability. In the presence of chromium, the strength of pipes used at elevated and lower temperatures increases.

An increased percentage of nickel is characteristic for copper-nickel pipes, which are used for the production of gasoline or freshwater tanks, various chemical equipment, oil pipelines, heat exchangers, valves, pump installations, shafts, fittings, etc.

As the percentage of copper increases, the corrosion resistance of pipes operating in seawater increases. Such alloys are used for the production of ship parts that are under water for a long time, since copper-nickel alloys are resistant to biological fouling.

Copper-nickel alloys with an increased chromium content are characterized by high tensile strength and increased creep resistance. Such pipes are used in aerospace engineering, as well as in the production of exhaust engine assemblies.

To purchase copper-nickel pipes in an assortment at economically favorable prices from manufacturers, AvecGlob offers. The supplier makes operational shipment of pipe products to any point. installed by the client.

Chemical composition and assortment

Copper-nickel pipes, which are used for the manufacture of heat exchangers and condensers, have certain characteristics: they contain from 1 to 4.5% of zinc, from 1.0 to 2.0% of tin, from 0.005 to 0.04% of phosphorus, and not more than 0.3% of other impurities.

Pipes are characterized by good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, excellent workability, easily subjected to soldering and welding (except for gas acetylene).

The assortment of copper-nickel pipes of domestic production is regulated by the requirements of GOST 17217−79. Pipes are produced by pressing or cold deformation technology, with an external diameter from 6 to 260 mm, with wall thicknesses within 1.0… 10.0 mm.

The mechanical properties of the pipes should correspond to the data given in the table:
